CT Store Manager Accused Of Selling Alcohol To Kids A manager at a store in Fairfield County has been accused of selling alcohol to minors in addition to having 3.5 pounds of cocaine as well as illegal fireworks and hard liquor. Michael Vegas, age 41, was busted on Wednesday, July 7, during a joint operation between the Bridgeport Police and the state Liquor Commission for spot checks at beer and grocery stores suspected of selling alcohol to minors. CT Man Lights Illegal Fireworks, Causing Large Brush Fire, Police Say A man has been charged with lighting illegal fireworks that caused a large brush fire to break out in Fairfield County, police say. Steven Botelho, 38, of Fairfield was arrested on Monday, Aug. 24 in connection to the incident that happened earlier this summer.
