Man Nabbed After Firing Shots At Cumberland Farms In CT, Police Say A man was busted for allegedly firing shots at a convenience store in Fairfield County. The incident occurred in Shelton around 10:15 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 28, at the Cumberland Farms on River Road. When Shelton Police arrived they discovered a broken window and recovered a spent shell casing in the parking lot, said Detective Christopher Nugent of the Shelton Police. New Haven County resident Hipolito Lopez, age 49, of Waterbury, was charged on Wednesday, Dec. 6, said Lt. Ryan Bessette of the Waterbury Police. Tijun Mims, age 26, of Hamden, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 18, for an incident that took place at the Red Roof Inn in Milford on Thursday, Feb. 4, said the Milford Police.
