Restaurant Workers Save Person From Raging Fire In CT
A person burned during a blaze in Fairfield County was rescued by good Samaritans who work at a nearby restaurant. The incident occurred in Norwalk on Friday, April 26, in the rear of 607 Main Ave. According to Deputy Chief Jonathan Maggio of the Norwalk Fire Department, arriving firefighters found a 1,000-square-foot area of brush burning between the Norwalk River and the rear parking area. Naugatuck Man Charged With Attempted Carjacking At Deli
A 23-year-old Connecticut man is behind bars after allegedly attempting to carjack a motorist at a deli before the driver was saved by a Good Samaritan armed with a hammer. The incident occurred in New Haven County around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24 at the Fulling Mills Deli on Prospect Street in Naugatuck. A video has surfaced after a woman was attacked in broad daylight as she exited an Apple store in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Greenwich around 4:30 p.m. on Monday, July 18 on lower Greenwich Avenue. According to Greenwich Police, the woman had just bought some electronic items at the store when she was followed by two men who were inside the store at the time she made the purchases. A Connecticut pedestrian who was struck by a hit-and-run driver remains in critical condition after being aided by a Good Samaritan. The incident happened just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23, when New Haven Police and Fire responded to a report of a pedestrian struck on Sherman Avenue between Elm Street and Whalley Avenue, in New Haven.
