CT House Damaged In Fire Re-burned Due To Large Amount Of Fireworks Inside A controlled burn will be held inside a Connecticut residence that was damaged in a fire because of the large amount of fireworks discovered in the garage and basement, police announced.  The Fairfield County residence, located in Shelton at 7 Bruce Dr., was scheduled to be re-burned on Thursday, June 27, according to the Shelton Police Department.  The home was originally damaged in a blaze on Saturday, June 22 around 6:45 p.m., when a fire began inside the residence. CT 14-Year-Old Accused Of Igniting Car Fire A 14-year-old boy has been apprehended for starting a car fire in Fairfield County with stolen fireworks. The fire took place in Stamford on Sunday, June 5, in the parking lot of 587 Elm St. According to Sgt. Sean Scanlan, of the Stamford Police, firefighters responded to the scene and found a 2008 Honda SUV on fire. After the fire was extinguished and investigators began looking into the cause of the blaze.
