Fatal Crash: CT Man Pulled From Underneath SUV A 41-year-old Fairfield County resident was killed during a crash with an SUV at a busy intersection. The incident occurred in Bridgeport around 11:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 6, at the intersection of Fairfield Avenue and Colorado Avenue. According to Capt. Lonnie Blackwell, of the Bridgeport Police, the victim was driving a 2005 Suzuki 1000 motorcycle when he crashed with a 2022 Toyota Rav 4.  The driver of the motorcycle was pulled from underneath the Toyota RAV4 by emergency responders and was transported to St. Vincent’s Hospital for treatment.  The operator of the RAV4 was ident…

The incident took place in Bridgeport around 8:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 26 in the 100 block of Denver Avenue. According to Captain Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police, officers responded to the area on Wednesday after receiving a ShotSpotter notification. Once on the scene, officers collected several items of evidence, conducted interviews, canvassed the area, and documented their investigation, Gilleran said. Ashley Reyes, of Bridgeport, was arrested on Thursday, March 31, following a months-long investigation into a violent carjacking that sent a 42 year-old Danbury taxi driver to the hospital last September.
