CT Couple Steals $460K From Victim, Police Say A couple has been charged with allegedly stealing more than $460,000 from a person in Fairfield County. In Nov. 2022, the Norwalk Police Department Detective Bureau opened an investigation into a report of a married couple illegally taking money from an elderly person, said Lt. Joe Dinho of the Norwalk Police. According to Dinho, the wife, Kelley Lombardo, age 49, of Stamford, was the conservator for the elderly person, and together with her husband Michael Lombardo, age 46, were accused of taking more than $460,000 for their own personal use from the elderly Norwalk resident. Vicious Assault: Suspect Nabbed After Woman Suffers Fractured Skull Near Library In CT A Connecticut man is behind bars after allegedly viciously beating a woman on an area sidewalk in an unprovoked attack. The incident took place in Middlesex County on Thursday, March 23 in the area of Russell Library in Middletown. According to Middletown Police, officers responded to the area on a report of an injured woman. When officers arrived on the scene they found a 62-year-old woman who had sustained severe injuries including a fractured skull and a brain bleed. The man is suspected of committing identity fraud at a Hampden County financial institution in West Springfield. The man, who has not been identified, is also accused of attempting to steal thousands of dollars from an elderly person, said the West Springfield Police Department.
