Ten Fairfield County residents are in the care of the Red Cross after a house fire destroyed a two-story home with three apartments. The fire occurred in Norwalk during the early morning hours of Wednesday, Jan. 3 a 1 Center Ave. According to Norwalk Assistant Fire Chief Steve Chay, firefighters responded to a two-story house fire and found fire showing through the first-floor windows. 13 Residents Displaced After Danbury Fire
Thirteen people have been displaced following a fire at a two-and-half-story residential building in Danbury. Firefighters responded to the fire just after 10:30 p.m., Monday, May 15 after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a structure fire on Main Street, said Capt. Kevin Lunnie, of the Danbury Fire Department. The first arriving units found heavy fire conditions in the rear of the building. Nearly a dozen residents were displaced after a condominium fire in Fairfield County. The blaze broke out around 11:45 a.m. Sunday, April 2 in Norwalk at the 30-unit facility in Norwalk at 296 Main Ave. Unit 28 and 27 were involved and were showing fire from both balconies from responders arrived, Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Steve Shay said. Two adults and a child were hospitalized following a fire in Fairfield County. The fire took place in Bridgeport around 3:20 a.m., Monday, Dec. 5 at 129 Wood Ave. According to Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management for Bridgeport, firefighters responded to the apartment after the department received several 911 calls. Fire Breaks Out At Multi-Family Home In Fairfield County
Nine people were left homeless following a fire that destroyed a multi-family residence in Fairfield County. The fire took place in Norwalk around 10:10 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 43 Lexington Ave. The fire started in the bedroom of the home and quickly spread to floors above, said Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Steve Shay. One person was killed and four people and three pets were displaced in an early morning house fire in Connecticut. The blaze broke out in Middlesex County around 4:30 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 1 on Pine. St., in Middletown.
