Ex-Exec At Connecticut Company Admits To $9.5M Consumer Scam, DOJ Says A New York man who was an executive at a company in Connecticut has admitted to causing more than $9.5 million in losses to consumers across the country. Northern Westchester County resident Norman Newman, age 74, of Croton-on-Hudson,  pleaded guilty today to supplying lists of consumers’ names and addresses for use in schemes that targeted vulnerable victims, according to court documents filed by the United States Department of Justice. Litchfield County Residents Charged With DWI In Memorial Day Weekend Stops More than two dozen area residents were among those busted by New York State Police for alleged impaired driving over the holiday weekend. Local residents charged:  Westchester County On May 22, the State Police from Cortlandt arrested Ricardo L. Figueroa, 34, of Croton-on-Hudson, for DWAI Drugs, and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, a felony. He was traveling on State Route 9 in the city of Peekskill, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. First Metro-North Worker Dies Of Covid-19 A Metro-North Railroad employee has died from the novel coronavirus, the agency's first death caused by COVID-19.
