CT Woman Killed During Domestic Event, Son Injured, Police Say A Connecticut woman was shot dead by a man during a domestic violence incident and her son was injured. The incident took place in Hartford County around 8 p.m., Monday, July 17 on Oakland Terrace in Hartford. According to Lt. Aaron Boisvert of the Hartford Police, patrol officers responded to a 911 caller reporting a domestic incident. Stamford Man Caught With Glock Following Crime Stoppers Tip, Police Say A Stamford man was charged with criminal possession of a firearm after police received a tip from Crime Stoppers that he was in possession of an illegal firearm. Members of the department's Narcotics and Orange unit were able to use information in the tip to identify the man as John Carolos Ruis-Franco, age 18, said Stamford Assistant Chief of Police Richard Conklin. New Haven County's Devante Echols, of Waterbury, was found shot once in the head on Saturday, July 10 in Waterbury. Since his death, Waterbury Police have arrested one man but say an armed and dangerous second suspect is still on the run. Traffic Stop Results In Charges For CT Woman Accused Of Dealing Drugs A 33-year-old woman accused of dealing drugs was arrested during a traffic stop on I-684 in Putnam County. Fairfield County resident Stephanie Deleon, of Danbury, was arrested around 8:25 p.m., Monday, March 8, after troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2016 Ford Explorer for a traffic violation in the town of Southeast, said Trooper AJ Hicks.  An investigation determined Deleon, was in possession of approximately 10.5 grams of MDMA, and 4.1 grams of cocaine, Hicks said.
