Social Media Post Of Guns Causes Concern At CT High School Police in Fairfield County are investigating after learning of an anonymous social media posting that alleged there was a group of high school students in possession of a gun. The incident occurred in Greenwich on Tuesday, Feb. 27, and concerned Greenwich High School. Capt. John Slusarz of the Greenwich Police said the department became aware of the posting that Greenwich High School students "may be" in possession of a gun. Reward Offered In Violent Attack On Elderly Naugatuck Man Police and a crime stoppers organization are offering a reward to find the person responsible for a brutal attack and robbery of an elderly Connecticut man. The attack took place in New Haven County around 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6 on Conrad Street (Oak Terrace) in Naugatuck. CT 17-Year-Old Accused Of Breaking Into Several Cars A 17-year-old is facing multiple burglary and larceny charges for his alleged involvement in a number of vehicle break-ins in Connecticut. Police in Hartford County said a group of people was breaking into vehicles in Enfield at about 2:30 a.m. on July 4. Police said the midnight patrol shift set up tire deflation devices along potential escape routes. The devices are used to safely release tire air pressure.
