Man Accused Of Shooting 8-Year-Old In Ear In Bridgeport During Drive-By A 23-year-old man has been accused of shooting an 8-year-old boy in the ear during a drive-by in Fairfield County. The incident took place in Bridgeport on Sunday, July 23 in the 300 block of Orchard Street. According to Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police, officers responded to the area around 11 p.m. after being alerted by ShotSpotter to 16 rounds being fired in the area and another for rounds on Spring Street. Man Nabbed For Heroin, Crack Sales In Darien, Police Say A man was charged with the alleged sale of crack and heroin following an investigation into drug sales in Fairfield County. Bridgeport residence Marc Busanet, age 23, was arrested in Darien on Friday, May 12 following the investigation, said Sgt. Dan Skoumbros, of the Darien Police. Bust Yields More Than 1,000 Grams Of Cocaine, Guns In Fairfield County, Police Say Police seized more than 1,000 grams of cocaine and two guns during a warrant search at a Fairfield County man's home. On Wednesday, March 10, the Bridgeport Police Task Force was granted search and seizure warrants as part of the investigation into Manolo Ortiz-Granell, of Bridgeport, said Scott Appleby, director of emergency management.  The investigation was based on evidence demonstrating that Ortiz-Granell was selling cocaine and heroin from 154 Roselle Street in Bridgeport, Appleby said.
