ID Released For Man Shot, Killed During Attempted Robbery At CT Motel Police have identified a Connecticut man who was killed while allegedly attempting to rob another man at a motel. Lamar Woodhouse, age 39, of New Haven, was killed early on Thursday, March 17, by the man he was attempting to rob at the Brandford Motel, located on East Main Street, police said. According to Brandford Police detectives, Woodhouse was attempting to rob a man at the motel at gunpoint when the man pulled out a gun and shot him. Crowd Assaults Cops Responding To Bonfire With Snowballs, Ice, Other Objects, Police Say Police in Connecticut were attacked with large chunks of ice, snowballs, and heavy items as they attempted to disperse a large crowd at a bonfire, causing officers to use pepper spray. The incident took place on Monday, Feb. 15, when East Haven Police officers were dispatched to 113 Bradford Avenue, to assist the East Haven Fire Department with a large crowd burning a large bonfire, said Captain Joseph Murgo.
