Man Nabbed For Driving Drunk, Wrong Way In CT, Police Say A man from Massachusetts was arrested for driving his truck the wrong way down a Connecticut road in an apparent drunk driving incident, police reported. It happened on Sunday, July 23 on Boston Post Road (Route 1) in Darien, according to Darien police. At approximately 2:15 a.m., police arrived at Post Road on reports that an intoxicated man was driving a white pickup truck in the wrong lane. Police: Man Harasses Employees Of CT Restaurant After Skipping On Bill A 58-year-old Fairfield County man was arrested after allegedly skipping out on a restaurant bill and then returning and throwing rocks at the establishment. Andrew Herz, of Greenwich, was arrested by Darien Police on Tuesday, July 7, for the incident which took place in February at The Goose, at 972 Boston Post Road, said Sgt. James Palmieri.
