Man, 72, Sexually Assaulted Child: Police
Police in New Haven County arrested a 72-year-old Connecticut man following an extensive investigation, authorities announced Friday, Oct. 25.
Mark Keith Pasquariello, of Stratford in Fairfield County, is charged with two counts of sexual assault in the fourth degree, risk of injury to a minor, and two counts of illegal sexual contact with a minor, North Haven Police said.
Investigators did not release much information on the investigation to protect the identity of the child.

Loved ones of a Connecticut man killed in a crash on Thursday afternoon, Oct. 24, said he was a caring, funny, and loving young man.
Peter Bienasz, of Plainville in Hartford County, was riding behind a Toyota Prius on Route 72 near the I-84 on-ramp, when he crashed into the back of the car, causing him to slam into a metal guardrail around 12:14 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 24, Connecticut State Police said. He was tossed from his bike and died at the scene.

If you're hoping to catch a train to watch the Yankees face off against the Dodgers on their home field, the MTA is adding service to and from the stadium to make your trip a bit easier.

A 23-year-old Connecticut man was killed Thursday, Oct. 24, when he wrecked his motorcycle into a guardrail, authorities said.
Peter Bienasz, of Plainville in Hartford County, was riding behind a Toyota Prius on Route 72 near the I-84 on-ramp, when he crashed into the back of the car, causing him to careen into a metal guardrail around 12:14 p.m., Connecticut State Police said.
