Severe Thunderstorms Heading to Greenwich

GREENWICH, Conn. — A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued by the National Weather Service for Greenwich and surrounding areas until 9 p.m. Friday.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in the area before midnight. The chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

On Saturday, there is a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms between 1 and 10 p.m. On Sunday, showers and thunderstorms are possible from noon to 4 p.m., then showers are likely, with a possible thunderstorm after 4 p.m.
