Coastal Flood Advisory Issued For Southern Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- High tide coupled with strong winds have prompted the National Weather Service to issue a coastal flood advisory for southern Fairfield County from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday morning.

Tides are expected to be up to 1 foot higher than normal, which could cause some of the most vulnerable coastal roads to flood. 

Rain is also in the forecast with up to half an inch possible. 

Partly sunny skies will return to the area on Wednesday with a high in the low 60s.
