Weaving Driver In Wilton Leads To DUI Charge For Norwalk Resident, Police Say A Fairfield County man was nabbed allegedly driving at twice the legal limit after he was stopped for driving all over the roadway. Tomas Mata Perez, age 40, of Norwalk, was stopped in Wilton on Wolfpit Road on Tuesday, Sept. 26, around 10:40 p.m. driving a 2023 Honda CRV. According to Lt. Anna Tornello, of the Wilton Police, Perez was stopped after he was seen unable to maintain a lane of travel. Man Arrested For DUI After Found Sleeping With Engine Running In Fairfield County, Police Say A 38-year-old man was charged with driving under the influence after he was found sleeping in the driver's seat of his running vehicle in Fairfield County. Norwalk Woman Found Asleep In Wilton Commuter Parking Lot Under Influence, Police Say A Fairfield County woman asleep behind the wheel with her hazard lights blinking in a commuter parking lot was allegedly under the influence and had to be hospitalized, police said. Officers from the Wilton Police Department spotted a parked car running at the commuter parking lot on Danbury Road at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23.  Police said the car was running at the intersection of Danbury Road and Wolfpit Road with its lights on and hazard lights blinking.
