Man Charged With Arson For Involvement In Port Chester House Fire A man has been charged with arson for his alleged involvement in a house fire that took dozens of firefighters in Westchester hours to extinguish. Michael Johnson 45, of White Plains, was arrested Wednesday, Jan. 30, and charged with arson for allegedly starting the raging fire in the vacant home on Smith Street in Port Chester, that took place around 5 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29, according to the Port Chester Police.
