ID Released For Person Struck, Killed By Stamford-Bound Metro-North Train
The identity has been released of a person who was killed after being struck by a train at a station in New York. The incident happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6 in Westchester County when the man trespassing on tracks at the Port Chester station was struck by the Stamford-bound Metro-North train on Track 3, according to an MTA spokesperson. A 30-year-old Connecticut man faces several charges after allegedly stealing from an elderly residential facility in New York, police said. New London County resident David Durlach of Waterford, age 30, was arrested on Friday, Dec. 1 following a long-term investigation into burglaries at a Westchester County elderly residential facility located in Greenburgh. Police in Fairfield County nabbed a violent kidnapper who fled from Westchester County after committing the alleged crime. The incident took place in Greenwich early Thursday, Sept. 21. According to Lt. A 30-year-old man who was allegedly found sleeping behind the wheel of his car in Fairfield County has been charged with driving under the influence. Westchester County resident Alexander Ramos-Sanchez, of Harrison, was arrested in Darien on Saturday, Sept. 2. According to Sgt. A New York man was caught stealing cooking oil from a local Connecticut restaurant in an early-morning escapade, police said. The New Haven County incident happened on Wednesday, Aug. 30, in Milford, the city’s police department announced.
