Hot Dog Eating Contest Highlights Walter's 100th Anniversary Celebration Nationally known Walter's Hot Dogs is celebrating its 100th anniversary with a hot dog eating contest at its original location. The centennial is being marked with one dollar dogs Monday, Aug. 26 which is customer appreciation day at all three Walter's locations, in Mamaroneck, White Plains, and Stamford.
