That's the pitch for the new season of "Divine Renovation, Destination: New England," a home renovation show filmed entirely in northwestern Connecticut. The first episode will premiere on Saturday, Oct. 19, at 5:30 a.m. on Fox 61 in Hartford and will air each Saturday for four more weeks.  The episodes are also currently streaming on Amazon Prime, Tubi, and Roku, among other platforms. George Pettit, Dentist In Ridgefield For Decades, Dies At 75 A longtime Ridgefield dentist who volunteered at a dental clinic in Honduras has died. Gordon G. Pettit, Jr. who practiced dentistry in Ridgefield for 32 years, died Thursday, May 23 at Danbury Hospital after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was 75. Dr. Pettit graduated from Northwestern University Dental School and joined his father in his dental practice in Ridgefield. He was born in New London on Aug. 5, 1943.
