A Fairfield County woman has been ordered to pay more than $70,000 in annuity benefits she stole from her late mother.
Sybil Butler, 57, of Norwalk, was sentenced in Bridgeport district court to three years of probation for stealing the benefits. She must also pay the $71,701.13 in restitution, pay a $1,000 fine and complete 150 hours of community service.
