Fleeing Drunk Driver Hits Officer After Being Told Car Would Be Towed, Norwalk Police Say
A Norwalk police officer was hit by a fleeing drunk driver after telling him his car would be towed, said the Norwalk Police Department.
The incident took place around 12:38 a.m., Sunday, May 5, when the Norwalk PD officer was stopped at a red light in the right lane on Main Street at the intersection of Wall Street. when a motorist pulled around his vehicle into to the left turn only lane of Main Street and drive through the red light while making a right turn, said the Norwalk Police Department.
The officer stopped the driver, Terrance Parker, 41, of Norwalk, on Wall Street, police said. …
