Man Who Had Done 'Odd Jobs' For Stamford Woman Charged In Her Murder Stamford Police have arrested a city man for the murder of a 93-year-old woman found dead at the bottom of a staircase. Robert Simmons, 51, of Stamford, was arrested Wednesday, Nov. 20, for the Wednesday, Sept. 25, murder of Isabella Mehner, said Stamford Police Lt. Michael A. Noto. Polic found Mehner at the bottom of a staircase after being asked to make a wellness check.  When officers responded to the home it appeared that she had have fallen down the staircase.  Through further investigation and with the assistance of the Office of Chief Medical Examiner …

Bones Found In Greenwich Park Identified As Local Man Bones found in a Greenwich park in 2017 have been identified as belonging to an area man through DNA testing. On April 26, 2017, Town of Greenwich Parks workers discovered a human bone in a stream at the Helen Binney Kitchel Natural Park, adjacent to Laddins Rock Road, in Old Greenwich, said Greenwich Police Lt.
