Woman Killed After Being Thrown From SUV In Merritt Parkway Crash
A woman who was killed after being thrown from an SUV in a crash on the Merritt Parkway in Fairfield County. It happened southbound near Exit 50 in South Trumbull at around 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, state police said. Pamela Maestri-Howes, 59, of Easton, was ejected from the Ford Explorer she was driving after it collided with a Mercedes-Benz E3504m. After the collision, the Explorer struck a guard rail, then crossed the right and left lanes before rolling over.
