Covid-19 In Westchester: 10 Fatalities, Rundown Of Cases By Municipality
More than 7,000 positive cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in Westchester, second-most in the state outside of New York City, and County Executive George Latimer says the pandemic is spreading across all municipalities.
Of those cases, 10 resulted in fatalities, Latimer said.
Statewide, there have been 44,635 confirmed cases of COVID-19, nearly 40,000 more than any other state.

On Friday, Dec. 20, State Police from Brewster arrested Michael A. Verella, 44, of Somers, for DWI. He was traveling on Interstate 684 in the town of Southeast, when he was stopped for a violation of the vehicle and traffic law. Police Dish Out 93 Tickets In Separate I-684 Details
New York State Police troopers were busy over the long Thanksgiving holiday weekend, dishing out nearly 100 tickets during a pair of details on I-684 in Westchester.
On Wednesday, Nov. 27, troopers conducted a “move over” enforcement detail along the I-684 corridor in Westchester, which was “conducted in furtherance of our mission to ensure highway safety for all users of the roadway.”
During that detail, troopers issued 38 tickets total, including 11 for drivers that failed to change lanes for law enforcement.
