Darien Police say they received a report from the School Resource Officer assigned to Middlesex Middle School that someone had drawn three swastika symbols in crayon on an exterior window on Monday, Sept. 9 around 6 a.m. The SRO photographed the markings before they were removed, police say. Bassick High School Evacuated After Bomb Threat Students have been dismissed from Bassick High School due to a bomb threat earlier in the day, said Bridgeport Police. The threat was received around 11:38 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, at the school at 1181 Fairfield Ave., said Terron Jones, spokesman for the police department.  "Students were dismissed, the building was cleared, and police are investigating," he said.  No further information was available.
