Significant Power Outage Causes UConn To Cancel Classes At Storrs Campus A “significant” power outage led to the cancellation of some classes at the University of Connecticut. Early classes at the UConn Storrs campus were canceled on Monday, March 21 because of a power outage, school officials announced due to the outage.
