Former Port Chester Mayor Dennis Pilla Dies At Age 60 Dennis Pilla, who served four terms as a mayor in Westchester, has died at the age of 60. Pilla died peacefully on Thursday, July 8, according to his obituary. He was the Port Chester mayor from 2007 to 2013 and from 2015 to 2017.  Pilla was also formerly president of the Westchester Municipal Officials Association from 2012 to 2013, and a member of its executive committee from 2017 to 2014.  He is survived by his wife, Margoth Pilla, and his son, David. CT State Police Nab Suspect In Fatal Stabbing Of Teen Aspiring PD Officer The latest suspect in the fatal stabbing of a 15-year-old New York City boy and aspiring police officer was apprehended by Connecticut State Police on Monday. At approximately 2:36 p.m., troopers from Troop A-Southbury conducted a motor vehicle stop on I-84 eastbound near exit 13 in Southbury. Several people were in the vehicle, however, the operator was considered the 12th suspect in the Bronx homicide of Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz, Connecticut State Police said.
