Covid-19: Ridgefield Death Toll Climbs To 30, Town Golf Course Reopens As the death toll from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic rises to 30 in Ridgefield, the town announced its golf course will reopen. The number of positive COVID-19 tests as of Tuesday, April 28, is 155, with the death toll reaching 30. Health Director Ed Briggs said that all but three of the deaths are associated with senior living facilities including the Ridgefield Crossing senior care facility on Route 7.
