Seen Him? 17-Year-Old Known To Frequent Fairfield County Goes Missing In Westchester County
Have you seen him? A teenager has gone missing in the region and authorities are asking the public's help in locating him. The New York State Police in Northern Westchester County are searching for Andy Salazar, age 17, from Four Winds Hospital in the Lewisboro hamlet of Cross River. He was last seen on Friday, Sept. 27 at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Route 35 by Four Winds staff. He was wearing a black hoodie and black pants. Man Killed In Crash After Losing Control Of Car Near I-684, Police Say
A 59-year-old man was killed after losing control of his vehicle and slamming into another vehicle on Route 35 near the intersection with Interstate 684 in Katonah, said Bedford Police. The man, a New Rochelle resident who police declined to identify, was driving west on Route 35 in a Lincoln Continental car service vehicle around 10:30 p.m., Thursday, July 11, when the vehicle crossed the median and struck a guardrail on the east side of the highway, said Bedford Police Lt. Update, 8 p.m. The stretch of southbound I-684 that was closed for nearly 15 hours has now reopened. Department of Transportation workers removed the Katonah/Cross River overhead sign severely damaged when a pickup truck crashed into a support structure early Sunday morning.
