Police Cruiser Flips After Crash In CT: Both Drivers Sent To Hospital Two people, including a police officer, were hospitalized following a crash that left the officer's cruiser flipped on a busy New London County road.  The incident happened on Wednesday, June 28 just after 9 a.m. in Waterford at the intersection of Richards Grove Road and Route 32, according to Waterford Police.  Both drivers were taken to Lawrence & Memorial Hospital with minor injuries suffered as a result of the crash, police said. No passengers were in either of the involved cars.  The collision is now under investigation.

Head-On Crash: CT Woman Killed, Second Driver Injured A 39-year-old Connecticut woman was killed after allegedly crossing the double-yellow line and hitting a pickup truck head-on.  The crash took place in Tolland County around 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 11, on Route 32 in Mansfield. Connecticut State Police said Vanessa Marie Rivero, of the town of Willington in Tolland County, was driving north on Route 32 near Mansfield City Road in a 2022 Volkswagen Jetta when she crossed the double-yellow line and hit a 2012 GMC Sierra head-on, before hitting a guardrail. Two Killed In Connecticut Crash Police are searching for witnesses after two people were killed in a crash in Connecticut. The crash happened at about 7:50 p.m. on Monday, May 30, on Route 32 near Meeting House Hill Road in the New London County town of Franklin, according to Connecticut State Police. A 2010 Honda Accord EX-L was traveling north on Route 32 when it failed to maintain its lane and traveled into the southbound lane, striking a southbound 2017 Lexus NX2, police said.  The driver of the Honda, identified as 24-year-old Jullian Raul Parrilla, of Windham, was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said. …
