Police: Norwalk Crash That Left Two Dead Caused By Head-On Collision NORWALK, Conn. -- A head-on crash on Connecticut Avenue/Route 1 in Norwalk late Monday night left two people dead and a third person with serious injuries, police said. The accident occurred at 10:11 p.m. in front of 789 Connecticut Ave., near the border of Darien and Norwalk.  Arriving officers found two cars in the roadway with extensive damage, police said. Two male occupants of one of the cars were pronounced dead at the scene, and a male occupant of the other car was seriously injured, police said.
