Pregnant Dog, 6 Pups Die Abandoned In CT Parking Lot; Group Offers $5K Reward For Answers
A pregnant dog found abandoned, nearly dead, and in labor died before she could be rescued along with her six unborn puppies, and now the community wants answers. The French bulldog mix was discovered on Dec. 19 at 8 Turtle Creek Lane in East Hartford, East Hartford Animal Control reported. She was in active labor and struggling to breathe. A Northern Westchester dog owner is offering a $5,000 reward after his “beloved” pooch was stolen out of his car on Valentine’s Day. Fliers have been distributed in the area by a Bedford man whose dog was stolen from his car while it was parked in a Scarsdale shopping center. The father of a 32-year-old Brewster man who was found dead on I-84 in Danbury, the victim of a hit-and-run, is offering a $5,000 reward in hopes that someone will come forward. Daniel "Danny" Crawford Jr., 32, was found around 1 a.m. Saturday, Connecticut State police said.
