Suspect Charged In Fatal Stabbing, Bridgeport's First Homicide Of 2019
Bridgeport Police have made an arrest in the first homicide of the year that left one man dead and a woman injured.
Kenyon Gay, 41, of Bridgeport and West Haven, was arrested on Tuesday, Jan. 15, for the stabbing death of a 39-year-old local man following a dispute, said Terron Jones, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police.
The killing took place around 6;15 p.m. Monday when Bridgeport resident Razzie Hancock was stabbed in the chest at 136 Bishop Avenue and died as a result of his injuries, Jones said.
