CT Teen Undergoes Emergency Surgery In Third Shooting In 3 Days
A 17-year-old Connecticut boy is recuperating after undergoing emergency surgery following a shooting on Tuesday, Sept. 3. It was the third shooting in New Haven this week, police said. Officers received a ShotSpotter alert around 5:45 p.m. near Sherman and Edgewood Avenues, where they found the boy suffering from a bullet wound, New Haven police said. Paramedics rushed the teen to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where doctors performed emergency surgery to save his life. He was listed in stable condition on Wednesday.
