Suspect Nabbed After Fatal, 5-Vehicle CT Crash
The suspect in a November 2022 five-car fatal Connecticut crash has been apprehended, police announced.
New Haven County resident Walter Spencer, aged 64, of Waterbury, was arrested on Wednesday, June 14 on 10 charges in relation to the 2022 crash in Cheshire which Connecticut State Police claim he caused.
At the time of the incident, which occurred on November 19, 2022, at approximately 4 p.m., Spencer was driving northbound with friend Arthur Wright on Highland Avenue, or Route 10.

Accused CT Bank Robber Nabbed After Chase, Crash, Police Say
A Connecticut man is behind bars after allegedly holding up a victim at a Webster Bank ATM at gunpoint.
The incident took place in Bristol around 11:20 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 2, at the bank located at 575 Farmington Ave.
According to Lt. Craig O'Connor of the Bristol Police, William Walker, age 31, of Hartford, held the victim at gunpoint and then fled in a dark-colored Honda.
Bristol Police located the vehicle attempting to leave and attempted to stop it before Walker took off taking police on a pursuit, O'Connor said.

Man Nabbed Hiding In Parking Garage In Fairfield County Following Chase, Crash, Police Say
A Connecticut man was arrested after police found him in hiding in a hospital parking garage in Fairfield County following a police chase and crash that all started at a probation office.
The incident started around 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 5, when Bridgeport Police were notified by New Haven Police that a man identified as Christopher Hilton, age 20, of New Haven, had "recklessly" sped away from a probation officer.
Preliminary reports indicated Hilton may have a firearm and could be heading for the Bridgeport area, said Scott Appleby, director of Emergency Management of Bridgeport.

Fairfield County Car Thief Rams Vehicles, Drives Into Oncoming Traffic, Police Say
Three Fairfield County men have been arrested after allegedly crashing into several police vehicles at the Westfield Trumbull Mall as they attempted to flee in a stolen vehicle.
During the incident, which took place on Monday, July 26, Dominique Reid, age 23, of Bridgeport, fled in the stolen Audi to avoid immediate capture, however, Hector Delgado, age 24, and Xavier Rondon, age 29, also of Bridgeport were immediately taken into police custody in the Westfield Mall parking lot, said Lieutenant Brian D. A 25-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries following a shooting and police pursuit that ended in a crash in Fairfield County.
Mark Anthony Febres, of Bridgeport, was arrested following the incident that started around 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24, when a Bridgeport Police received a Shotspotter activation on Helen Street, said Scott Appleby, director of emergency management.

Police in Fairfield County are searching for a gold Toyota Camry that allegedly hit three cars, and a police vehicle during a pursuit following alleged shoplifting at a Home Depot.
The incident began around 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, when Fairfield Police received a call from Loss Prevention at Home Depot, 541 Kings Highway Cutoff, reporting a known shoplifter was inside the store concealing items, said Lieutenant Antonio Granata.

A Long Island man allegedly led police on a high-speed car chase before crashing into a police cruiser in Fairfield County, then continued his escape on foot before he was ultimately tasered, police said.

An intoxicated 56-year-old man led police on an inching chase, frequently stopping in the middle of the travel lane and motioning for pursuing officers, their lights flashing, to pass him, police said.
Tony Barr of Bridgeport, 56, reportedly caught the attention of Monroe police officers on Saturday, Sept. 12 with an equipment violation, and maintained that attention by swerving between lanes.

A man was picked up on a warrant for reckless driving after taking police on a chase in Fairfield County.
Christian Prince, 48, of Stamford, was arrested by Stamford Police on a warrant out of Greenwich for an incident that took place on Nov. 30, said the Greenwich Police.
According to police, On Saturday, Nov. 30, around 2:30 a.m., Prince was allegedly driving in an erratic manner in a neighborhood on the west of side of Greenwich when officers attempted to make a traffic stop.
