A 35-year-old man is behind bars after allegedly ramming a Fairfield County police car as he fled from cops who stopped him attempting to pull open the doors of a luxury store. The incident occurred in Greenwich around 5 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 29 behind the Saks Fifth Avenue store at 205 Greenwich Ave. According to Greenwich Police Deputy Chief Mark Zuccerella, officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle that had backed up to the rear doors of the store. Trio Ages 12, 13 Nabbed Attempting To Steal Car At Trumbull Mall
Three juveniles ages 12 and 13 years old were charged with breaking into and attempting to steal a car at a Fairfield County mall. The attempted theft took place in Trumbull around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 6 at the Trumbull Mall. According to Lt. Brian Weir, of the Trumbull Police, the department received a call that four people wearing black hoodies and masks had just stolen a purse and Air Jordan shoes from a Hyundai Elantra that they broke into in the parking lot of the mall. Two Teens Charged With Burglarizing Cars In Stamford
Two Stamford teens were arrested for burglarizing eight cars on the East Side, according to Capt. Rich Conklin. The teens -- ages 16 and 17 -- were caught about 9 p.m. Wednesday on Limerick street by Stamford officers who were patrolling the area after receiving a 911 call from a resident, Conklin said. When the officers responded to the scene, they were able to spot three teens within about two minutes, police said. When the officer pulled up, the teens took off running, but one of the officers was able to tackle one of the teens and another was found hiding in bushes in a backyard. The …
