$150M Lawsuit Filed In Hit-Run Death Of Nicki Minaj's Father
The hit-and-run driver who struck and killed pop star Nicki Minaj’s father may have more than just time behind bars to worry about. Personal injury attorneys Ben Crump and Paul J. Napoli have filed the lawsuit in the New York Supreme Court for $150 million on behalf of his wife following the death of Robert Maraj on Friday, Feb. 12 on Long Island. Nassau County Police said that the 64-year-old Maraj was walking on Roslyn Road in Mineola near the intersection of Raff Avenue at approximately 6:15 p.m. on Feb. 12 when he was struck by Mineola resident Charles Polevich. Deer Attack: Parking Enforcement Officer Injured By Buck
A Northern Westchester parking enforcement officer has been hospitalized after being attacked by a deer on her property located on the Montrose/Verplanck border. According to Michael Preziosi, director of the town’s Department of Technical Services, the unidentified employee in Cortlandt was attacked at her private residence. He said the town wishes her a speedy recovery. The woman, who was attacked early last week, reportedly suffered numerous injuries, including a punctured lung and broken pelvis during the attack by the buck.

Lawsuit: Man Suffered Brain Damage When Rod Fell At Brookfield Costco
A 62-year-old man who claims he suffered irreversible brain damage when a steel rod fell on him at a Brookfield Costco in 2016, has sued the wholesale chain. Peter Aurigemma Jr. of North Salem filed the seven-page lawsuit Tuesday in U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut in Hartford, claims that he was severely injured when he was reaching for a package of paper towels from the top of a display 7- to 8-feet high when he was struck in the face by a falling steel rod.
