'Significant' Cancer Levels Discovered At School District In Region, Report Says A study has found that people living near or who attend school in a New York school district had "significant" higher cancer incidents. The study found the number of residents of all ages living within the Northport-East Northport School District had a "statistically significant," higher rate of cancer, reported ABC 7 Eyewitness News. Thousands Of Dollars Raised For Sons Of Fairfield County Man Who Died From Cancer Members of the community have raised thousands of dollars for the children of a Fairfield County man who died of cancer. Erik Tlatelpa, age 41, of Trumbull, died on Friday, June 3, of pancreatic cancer, according to a GoFundMe set up to create a college fund for his two sons. NEW Photos: Lifelong Port Chester Resident Celebrates 107th Birthday Jean Camillo, a lifelong resident of Port Chester, celebrated her 107th birthday on Thursday, Aug. 16 with family and friends at The Enclave at Port Chester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. "She had a wonderful time,''' said her son, Dr. Joseph Camillo of Rye Brook, a retired dentist, who brought the birthday cake.  Camillo said his mother grew up with eight siblings in a wealthy household.
