Family Of Missing Fairfield County Teen Fears For Her Safety
The Bridgeport Police Department has released a Silver Alert for an endangered runaway teenager. The alert was issued for 16-year-old Stephanie Casiano, of Sixth Street, who was last seen leaving Harding High School at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Friday, April 12. According to police, at the time she was last seen, Casiano was in the company of a male teenager. They were tracked by surveillance video to Seaview Avenue and Ogden Street before investigators lost track of her. Suspect Arrested For 2017 Fatal Hit-Run Crash In Fairfield County
The Bridgeport Police Traffic Division have made an arrest in the fatal hit and run accident that took the life of 81-year-old Gasper Esteves of Bridgeport in 2017. Esteves was standing outside of his Ford Ranger in front of his sister's house on Arlington Street when he was struck by a Volkswagen Passat on June 25, said Av Harris, spokesman for the Bridgeport Police Department. The driver failed to stop and fled the scene. Esteves was transported to St Vincent's Hospital in critical condition and was pronounced dead a few hours later, police said. : Bridgeport Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect In Robberies
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — The Bridgeport Police Robbery Squad is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect who has committed several robberies this week in the Ogden Street and Park Street area. A firearm was used in one of the robberies, police said. Bridgeport Police released a video of the suspect on YouTube on Friday evening.
