New Update - Body ID: Stamford Man Found Floating In Norwalk Harbor Police have identified a man whose body was found floating by a boater. Christian Bernadel, age 26, of Stamford, was found in Norwalk Harbor around 9:40 a.m., Tuesday, June 27, after police received a report from a boater, said Lt. Joe Dinho, of the Norwalk Poice. Norwalk Police Marine Unit and Norwalk Fire Marine Unit responded to the location and recovered Bernadel. Man's Body Found Floating In Norwalk Harbor Police in are working to identify a man whose body was found floating in Norwalk Harbor. The incident took place around 9:40 a.m., Tuesday, June 27. According to Lt. Joe Dinho of the Norwalk Police, officers responded to the harbor after receiving a report from a boater of a body floating in the water. Kayaker Rescued From Freezing Waters After Capsizing Off Fairfield County Coast A kayaker was rescued by firefighters after overturning off the Fairfield County coast and becoming stranded in the cold waters. The incident took place around 1:10 p.m., Friday, April 9 in Norwalk Harbor. The Norwalk fire department’s marine unit 238 responded to a call for distress and located the victim at 1:24 p.m. in the area of Round Beach, clinging to the side of another person’s kayak, said Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Michael P.
