Police in Connecticut are asking the public for help tracking down two dirt bikes stolen from a garage, including one gifted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The incident occurred in Windham County around 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 20, from a James Street West garage in the town of Putnam. According to Putnam Police, someone broke into a detached locked garage and stole two off-road motorcycles. The homeowner estimated the thefts occurred a short time before discovering the burglary. Father Of 12-Year-Old Killed In CT Shooting Also Gunned Down On City Street
The father of a 12-year-old Connecticut girl who was killed after being shot twice on a city street also died after being shot a decade before. Hartford County resident Se’Cret Pierce, of Hartford, was shot twice around 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 at 48 Huntington St., said Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police. When Hartford Police arrived on the scene, they found an 18-year-old man shot, as well as Se'Cret who had been shot in the head and abdomen, Boisvert said.
