Burglar Caught In Act By Shelton Resident Arrested, Police Say A 44-year-old Connecticut man was charged with burglary after he was confronted by the homeowner in Fairfield County. New Haven County resident Michael Ramchandani, of Hamden, was arrested for the Sunday, Oct. 15 incident that took place at a River Road home. According to Det. Richard Bango, of the Shelton Police, a River Road resident interrupted a burglary in progress at his home. When Ramchandani was carrying items out of the home and confronted, he fled in his car, said Bango.
