Chilling Details Emerge After Brian Laundrie's Full Autopsy Is Released
Gruesome new details have been released in a 47-page report by a medical examiner as to the condition of Brian Laundrie's remains after they were discovered in an environmental preserve in Florida.
The report, released Monday, Feb. 14, by District Twelve Medical Examiner in Sarasota, Florida, revealed that Laundrie, who admittedly killed fellow Long Island native Gabby Petito, who also grew up in Blue Point in Suffolk County, shot himself in the left side of the head and his body was then partially eaten by animals.

Brian Laundrie Took Responsibility For Gabby Petito’s Death, FBI Announces
Brian Laundrie took responsibility for the death of his 22-year-old fiancé and fellow Long Island native, Gabby Petito, the FBI announced on Friday, Jan. 21.
The 24-year-old Laundrie was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Wednesday, Oct. 20 in a nature reserve near his home in North Port, Florida.
"Investigators found human remains later confirmed to be Mr. Laundrie, along with a backpack, notebook, and a revolver," the FBI said in a statement. "A review of the notebook revealed written statements by Mr. Laundrie claiming responsibility for Ms. Petito’s death."

An independent investigation into how police in Utah handled a domestic violence incident between Long Island natives Gabby Petito and her boyfriend Brian Laundrie revealed officers made several "unintentional" mistakes.
Petito, age 22, of Blue Point in Suffolk County, who had been on a road trip with Laundrie, was killed by strangulation, her body was found on Sunday, Sept. 19, in the Grand Teton National Park, in Wyoming.

Alec Baldwin Discharges Prop Gun, Killing Crew Member, Injuring Director On Movie Set
A cinematographer was killed and a director injured after actor Alec Baldwin discharged a prop firearm on the set of a movie being produced in Santa Fe, New Mexico, authorities said.
The incident happened just before 2 p.m. Pacific Time Thursday, Oct. 21, at a rank in the area, the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office said.
