Connecticut Minimum Wage Will Soon Increase To $14 Connecticut's minimum wage is set to increase in the coming days as part of the state's five-year plan to increase the minimum wage to $15 in 2023. Gov. Ned Lamont issued a reminder that beginning Friday, July 1, Connecticut's minimum wage will increase from $13 to $14. Covid-19: Here's Percentage Of Americans Ordering Takeout To Help Small Businesses The majority of Americans have been taking steps to support the local businesses that have been hit the hardest during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, according to a new survey. Pollsters surveyed 1,036 Americans around the country over several days, which determined that 76 percent of Americans said they are more likely to buy from a local business than a larger big-box store.
