Duo Charged After Police Chase On I-95 From Darien To Westport Two people were arrested following a police pursuit that started when another driver reported to Connecticut State Police that she saw a passenger holding a gun to a female driver's head on I-95 near Darien. Immediately after the second motorist reported the incident around 2:20 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5, state police put out an alert to all police stations across the area including the Darien Police, said Capt. Darien Police Department Welcomes Pair Of New Officers The Darien Police Department is pleased to announce the hiring of two new officers to the department.  Kelly Thurston of Naugatuck comes to the Darien Police Department after being employed as a physical education and health teacher for the Naugatuck School District.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Education from Central Connecticut State University. Steven Costantini of Milford comes to the department from Yale Health where he was an human resource specialist.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut.  They were sworn in as members of the police d…
