Teen Caught In Foot Chase After Breaking Into Stamford Home, Police Say One of a pair of suspects who broke into a Stamford home early Saturday morning was caught following a foot chase, police said. Police response to Albin Road in the Cove section of the city just before 5 a.m. after a neighbor reported seeing two men in a Honda Ridgeline acting suspiciously in the neighborhood. The neighbor saw the two as they exited their vehicle and made entry into her neighbor’s garage and then into her house, Lt. Michael A. Noto said. Police: Mom Under Influence Resists Arrest While Picking Up Child At School A Hudson Valley mom was arrested after attempting to pick up her child from a Fairfield County school while drunk.  Wilton Police arrested Jolene Matthews, 41, of Monroe in Orange County, after receiving a call from the Goddard School for a report of an intoxicated parent attempting to pick-up their 4-year-old child, said Lt. Robert Kluk.  According to Kluk, after workers would not release the child to Matthews she left the area driving south on Kristine Lilly Way in a black VW Jetta.
