Search For Fugitive Northeast Killer Now 'Nationwide' Manhunt, Police Say Danelo Cavalcante has somehow slipped by the hundreds of law enforcement officers in Pennsylvania and neighboring states searching for him in the Longwood Gardens, and though authorities believe he is still in Pennsylvania, they are now describing the search as a "nationwide" manhunt.  The 34-year-old fugitive killer was captured on home surveillance footage on the porch of a residence in northern Chester County near Phoenixville, sometime late Saturday, Sept. 9, Pennsylvania State Police said. Two Children Rescued After Fugitives Apprehended In Connecticut Two toddlers were rescued and a couple was arrested after US Marshals tracked the pair to Connecticut. The incident took place in New Haven County when the fugitives were found in Waterbury on Monday, March 28, said Matthew Duffy, of the US Marshals Service. The Connecticut State Police Eastern District Major Crime Squad at Troop E in Montville say Fernando Irizzary, 42, of Willimantic has an active and extraditable felony arrest warrant with charges for first-degree failure to appear. Pound Ridge Police received the call of a suspicious vehicle in the area of Sherwood Rd in Pound Ridge on Wednesday, Dec. 26.
