High School Senior In Northern Westchester Killed In Crash Days Before Graduation A high school senior from Northern Westchester has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash that happened just two days before graduation. The single-vehicle incident happened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 18 in Bedford Hills on Route 117 (Bedford Road), near Edna Street, between Valerio Court and Green Lane. Joshua Martinez Arana and another Fox Lane High School senior were rushed to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, where the 18-year-old Arana later died. Art Teacher's Mural Of Hope Lifts Community In Fairfield County An art teacher from Fox Lane High School in Bedford is lifting the spirits of another community, Danbury, where she resides. Amy Salerno recently completed The Dorothy Day Mural of Hope which aims to feed the soul of those in need while honoring the dignity of all people. The mural was created in the dining room of the Dorothy Day Hospitality House in Danbury.
